Ondas Completes $196.6M AI Defense Acquisition Amid Stock Decline
Ondas Holdings Inc. finalized its all-stock acquisition of Israeli AI defense firm Omnisys for $196.6 million on May 21, 2026. The deal, paid entirely in Ondas common shares, grants the company control of Omnisys' Battle Resource Optimization (BRO) software—a modular AI platform for military decision-making used by NATO and allied forces.
Despite projecting over $100 million in combined revenue through 2027, Ondas' stock (ONDS) fell 3% to $9.19 post-announcement, extending a 13% weekly decline. Sellers face trading restrictions on the 3.1 million shares issued at closing, with additional installments pending.
